At Mawson Lakes Community Church we serve others out of gratitude for God’s love and service to us. We desire to engage in the community of Mawson Lakes and the broader Salisbury area. We offer our time, our talents, and our treasures (our finances) because God has blessed us with these gifts.
Service is a joy and a privilege, particularly when we serve from our skill set, abilities and means. If we are capable readers and confident speakers, it’s easy to offer our time and talent by reading from the Bible in worship, or praying in church. Those who have the gift of creativity can enhance our worship visually, through drama and through music. The organisers amongst us gladly step forward to serve in leadership roles or when events require planning and implementation. All of us can make others feel welcome and invite friends, family and neighbours to be a part of our community.
Each Talking Point eNews includes the latest roster or rosters. Check out some of the tasks that are needed to ensure that each Sunday’s worship service comes together in praise of our loving God. God wants to use you too.
